Chula Vista, CA
Today we pulled out of the RV Park in Seal Beach and started our summer travels. We are both really sad about leaving the family. We will really miss babysitting Rory and helping Aimee and Nick.
Our first stop for our travels is in Chula Vista, San Diego, CA. We will be camping with our group for the weekend and taking off from there. We arrived a bit later than normal at the campground as our early bird friends informed us that they were spraying top stuff on the roads and we couldn't access our site until around 12:30. We decided to stop at Camp Pendelton and have lunch and pick up a couple of things from the commissary. Once we completed that we were on our way south again. We pulled into the campground around 1:30 and got setup. We all sat around and visited for the afternoon. For dinner we decided to go to Dick's Last Resort in town. It is a fun place and we had a good time.
The waiter was fun and made hats for all the girls. Mine said I am 100's and 100's of years old. I should be carbon dated. Lydia's said - rubbed more balls than a gypsy. Janie's said - retired stripped and Cheri's said - His Viagra gave me a sore wrist. We even surrounded another table and sang Happy Birthday to a young lady in the key of L (It sounded like L to us!).
We went in the Jacuzzi after we returned home and solved the problems of the world. After that it was lights out as we were all tired.
Tomorrow we are getting the RV washed at the campground and visiting. That is all for today. Bye
