Junction, TX

Junction North Llano River RV Park
Junction, TX

Our drive today was just under 200 miles.  All of it was on I10 so straight and boring.  We made it to Junction, TX with no problems.  W did make a stop at a rest area but we weren't sure we were all going to get a parking spot but we just fit.  We always stop about half way along the route to let the dogs out to do their thing.

The campground we are staying at used to be a KOA.  The owners have done a great job here.  The grounds are nice and many of the sites have little covered patios.  Since Bill is retired military it cost us $32 a night here.  The river flows behind the campground.

You may notice that Terry has his car hood open.  His tow car battery was dead when we got here and he had to jump it.  It is fine now.  Guess he needs to unplug the electric cable overnight.

We had a little rain on the drive over but once we got here the rain stopped.  It was still overcast and cool but no rain.

Lydia made dinner tonight, we had ham, mac and cheese, bread and salad.  It was very good.  She made an apple caramel cake for dessert.  We probably don't need dessert every night.

Bill took a walk around the campground and took these pictures.

So that is all for now.  I hope you had a good day.
