Santa Rosa RV Park

We hung around for a bit this morning as we had a rather short drive, 120 miles. After we got on the road Bill asked if there was a place further on that we could go to. I whipped out my trusty phone and did some research. We decided to go an additional 50 miles today. We planned on staying in Tucumcari but stayed in Santa Rosa, NM instead. We are at a Good Sam Park called the Santa Rosa Campground. The guy who owns the place is a bit on the rough side but the park is fine for overnighting. We are in an electric and water site. In fact, we are on Historic Route 66 and staying in site 66!
We really didn't do much after we got settled in. I did make dinner even though there is a restaurant here at the campground. If they served breakfast we would have gone to it but not dinner.
We are still battling winds which is a bummer.
