Branson, MO
Yeah! We made it!!! It was a short drive of only a couple of hours so we didn't leave the campground until after 9:00. In fact, I made scrambled eggs for breakfast before we left. The drive was uneventful, just a few curves over the last couple of miles into the campground. We got settled into the Branson's Ozark Country Campground for the next 9 days. We are right next to the K's and the M's. It is hot here just like most of the country.
Terry & Lydia have been waiting 2 days for a repair guy to show up and see what was wrong with their air conditioner. It works sometimes but not others. We also have tickets to see Sara Evans tonight at 8:00 PM. I called the guy also to take a look at my ice maker and light. He finally showed up at 5:00 PM!!!! He diagnosed their problem then his partner looked at mine. We were going to go to dinner before the show but by the time they finished we only had time for fast food. Well, we thought it was going to be fast food. We went to a Steak & Shake. This is the only one I have ever seen that has table side service. You don't order at the counter and then get your food and find a seat. They seat you then take your order and deliver it. Very unusual for fast food. It was crowded when we got there and decided to sit at the counter for faster service. The hamburgers and shakes were good and the price and time were right.
Our concert tonight was at the Mansion Theater. We got there about 7:20 and got our seats. We are in row 3, stage right. I bought the tickets months ago to guarantee a good seat. The others really enjoyed the seats. Sara Evans was good and we had a good time. I posted the pictures below.
When we got home to the campground we all let the dogs out to go potty. Bill took Lola off her leash to run a bit as did Terry with Bailey. They really enjoyed that. Soon we were back in the rig and in bed.
