Happy Birthday Lydia!  We are having our party for her tomorrow when we get to Albuquerque.

There weren't any mechanical problems today (thank goodness) and we have a short drive today so we didn't leave until 10:00 AM.  We didn't drive in a caravan this time.  We took off a few minutes before the others, expecting them to catch up.  We didn't see them until we stopped in Winslow at the Flying J for fuel.

We are in for the night at OK RV Park in Holbrook, AZ.  It is a nice park and we have all stayed here before.  The sites are long and close together but not too bad.

I made chicken for dinner tonight.  It was chicken breast spread with a mixture of mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and a bit of garlic powder.  Everyone liked it.  Lydia made scalloped potatoes and Janie made a Chinese Salad.  Last year each of us made a full meal on a specific day.  This year we are doing the meals together.  This is a little easier to do in our small kitchens.  

After dinner we took a drive over to the Dairy Queen for dessert.  After a warm day the ice cream hit the right spot.

When we returned to the campground we sat outside for awhile and enjoyed the sun going down.  The temps were nice and we had a good time.  The dogs really enjoyed it too.

Tomorrow we head to Albuquerque where we will spend 2 nights.  Time to do some laundry.
