Enjoying BBQ

We got up and headed out to breakfast at a place just outside the gate called Ziggy's.  It is a little family owned place and the food was good.  Next we headed over to Walmart as Bill needed to get a couple of shirts.  All the ones he brought with him were nylon and he wanted some made of cotton since it is so muggy here.  Lastly, we headed to the commissary to get a few things.  Back at the rig I put a load of laundry in the washer.  We then settled in for a few hours.

In the afternoon we headed to Stormy's house.  First we made a side trip to Smithfield's to pick up some side dishes for dinner.  We had to get some hushpuppies while there, of course.  Bryant smoked a pork butt and Phil smoked some ribs.  They were both very good.

Bill brought one of his trains for his great-grandson, Nelson.  He gave it to him on Saturday and he really likes playing with it.  Nelson's 6th birthday is later this week so we will be going out to dinner with them.

It rained a bit in the afternoon but nothing like last night.  I think we are in for a bit of rain everyday for the next few days.
