Jones Station RV Park
We fought wind a lot of the way today but no rain. I do think we are driving toward the rain. There were a couple of places where the drive got a little hard due to traffic but not too much. All in all it was uneventful.
We are staying at a place called Jones Station RV Park. We stayed here a couple of years ago too. It is a nice park about 3 miles off the highway. Our site was situated so that we could get satellite through the trees. It was hot and muggy when we got here. Because it is only one night we only hooked up the water and electric. We did unhook the car but didn't go anywhere. I fixed sausage and sauerkraut for dinner.
Tomorrow we head into the base at Cherrypoint. Then we are staying for a few days. We do have to move once during the time as the base is currently booked for the 4th of July weekend. We are going to a not so nice park in New Bern for a few days, unless there is a cancellation at the base when we get there.
Sorry there isn't much but we didn't do anything. Have a good night.
