Santa Rosa, NM
Ramblin' Rose RV Park

Today we have a long drive of 260 miles.  We got on the road around 9:30 AM.  When we got up the wind was not blowing but by the time we got on the road it was windy.  Not as bad as the last couple of days but it made a hard drive.

We stopped outside of Albuquerque for fuel at the Flying J.  We were going to stop and have lunch at the Denny's but the "RV" parking was so short our rig wouldn't fit, let alone the car.  The truck lot looked full so we decided to drive on and stop at the next rest area and make leftover meatloaf sandwiches.

We are spending the night in a new to us campground.  I knew it wasn't going to be anything great but it will be going on our list of don't stay here again parks.  The name is Ramblin' Rose RV Park in Santa Rosa, NM.  It isn't much but the thing we don't like is they say they have 50 amp service.  Their plug is even 50 amp but we are only getting 30 amp service from it. For $20 it might have been acceptable but the site really isn't long enough for the rig and car.  The car kinda hangs out a bit.

I am cooking in again tonight.  Santa Rosa is a small town and there doesn't look to be much here in the way of restaurants.

There must be a lot of mosquitoes out.  I have been getting bitten the last few nights.  They don't itch much but are a pain in the rear.

So that is all for today.  Have a good night
