I decided to paint the beige tile around my fireplace. It didn't match with everything else after the painting was done. I found some instructions on Pinterest and tried to follow them. They said to only use a certain primer and no top coat but I couldn't get it to not streak. So I decided to use 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of semi-gloss, the same as our trim. I also used a roller on the semi-gloss instead of a brush. I think it came out looking good, just don't look really, really close. (ha ha). Here is a before and an after picture.
So what do you think?
I also did a project to put in the backyard when it is done, if that ever happens. I think it is cute enough that I may leave it in the house instead.
I am still waiting on the last quote for the patio. I hope it done before the end of summer. Ohio time.
Rory and Lola are coming over for 4 days at the end of this week. Wish us luck! I will be exhaused by the time they go home, I am sure.

Looks good! I made a watering can like yours with the lights but hung crystals from mine that look like water drops.
