Things we planned

We have done a few things with Rory.  We took him to a train show last weekend at Carillon Park in Dayton.  Aimee wasn't feeling well and Nick got called out for work so it was just the 3 of us.  He was very well behaved and we had a good time.  We spent about 3 hours or so there.  He rode the merry-go-round, the slides, a trolley ride and a train ride.  We had fun.  Luckily, the weather was overcast so it wasn't too warm. 

We got our rig back from service and made some camping plans.  The week after the 4th we are heading to Caesar Creek to camp for a couple of days.  We plan on going there on Sunday afternoon and we will clean the rig.  It needs dusting and cleaning since it sat over the winter.  We will pick up Lola and Rory on Monday and keep them until Wednesday morning.  I hope I planned enough activities to keep them busy.  We will head home on Thursday morning after cleaning again.  That will be our summer break in period. 

In early August we have made reservations in Amana, Iowa to attend an FMCA rally.  We have never been to one but have been to the campground a couple of times.  We won't be taking the littles with us as we have no idea how one operates.  We will be gone for about a week.  It is a 525 mile drive to get there so that is 2 days.  One we return from there we will probably go back to Caesar Creek at least one more time. 

Our patio is now scheduled to be started the week of July 8.  Since they will be working outside it shouldn't be a problem that we are not here.  We will only be 15 miles down the road so we can come back if we need to. 

Today we are taking Rory to an event.  It is a touch a firetruck thing.  It is at a local indoor playground so he will like that.
