We drove 84 miles into Columbus last Thursday to go to t
he Ohio State Fair and see Reba. We thought we would stop along the way for dinner (didn't want fried food from the fair) but boy, were we wrong. We didn't find anything except fast food until we reached the outskirts of Columbus. We finally found a Cracker Barrel and decided to stop there. After dinner it was on to the fair. We had to park in the south 40 but they had a trolley we could ride to the gate and back again. We did stop at the tent that had the Budweiser Clydesdale horses. These are beautiful horses. They also had a couple of the dalmatians there. How can they get theirs to behave so well. We couldn't get Freckles to do what we wanted.
The show was good but my pictures aren't. I forgot to bring my telephoto extender to my phone camera and the pics are not that good but here they are.
It was a drive of about 1 1/2 hours but they show was over at 9:00 so we got to bed at our regular time.
We are heading to an FMCA rally in Iowa next week so we have been getting ready for that. It will be our first rally so maybe we will meet people to camp with.
Hope you had a good time.
