Busy looking

spring has arrived, but the temps are still low enough that shorts are not the correct clothing yet. I do wear them to my physical therapy but I put a pair of sweats on over them to go outside.

Nick’s birthday was at the beginning of the month. We went to a place called Osaka.  It is like a Benihana. Rory enjoyed the show they put on and he even ate some shrimp and noodles.

We have been talking about getting a boat to enjoy in the summer. We used to have one years ago but it was so hard to get on a lake in CA that we sold it. First we looked at boats but decided we needed to get something to tow one with. Our Suzuki and C-Max are both too small. We found a 2007 Chevy  Trailblazer.  It was in very good shape and had the tow package already. Here is a picture

Now we have three cars at home!  One to tow the boat, one to tow behind the motor home and one to drive everyday. Wonder if there is another reason to get another one?  ðŸ˜³I

One we purchased the car we went looking at boats again. We found one we liked and put a deposit on it. It is stored inside at a marina on the Ohio river in Cincinnati.  Because of the location inside the building we couldn’t run the engine but it is in very good shape. We will pay the remainder later in April when it can be removed. They have to move some yachts that are in front of it to get it out. Here are a couple of pictures from the ad. Can’t wait to get on the water.

I will post more pics when we get the boat home. There is a really large lake about 15 miles from the house so it will be easy to get on. We also had to get a storage site so we are moving over RV so the two will be in the same place. Busy, busy

About a week ago I noticed that my knee was turning red and starting to drain. I called the doctor and he decided to put me on antibiotics. Everything is looking good and the spot is healing. I am going to my PT and they are happy with my progress. I have a couple more weeks for that.

Our first camp out is coming up in late April. We are looking forward to that. Time to get the RV out of mothballs.  It is only 40 miles away so it will be easy to get to.

So that is what is going on with us. Hope you are all good. Bye.
