We went to the doctors office to pick up a copy of the paperwork she completed for me. It took them a bit to find it but they finally did. When we got home I noticed she put dates on it that wouldn’t support my claim. I sent her a copy and asked them to change it. I also sent a form to my rheumatologist, and gave her the specific dares. She said no problem and filled it out. We also went tot the grocery store for a couple of items while we were out.
We started to take our morning walk and got around the first corner when it started to hail on us! We quickly walked home. We will try again later. It wasn’t suppose to rain today. We finally got the walk in as well as our evening walk. It was cold and we wore our really heavy coats. Dinner was pot pies. I just didn’t feel like cooking.

I didn’t sleep well last night. My knees are bothering me a lot lately. I guess it is another sign of my medicine not working well. Can’t wait for my Dr appt later this month. We were still able to get our walks in today. We are still doing a one mile walk at a speed of 3 mph. I don’t think I am ready to extend that yet.
The empty land next to our neighborhood is being worked on. It is owned by the people who developed this neighborhood. I do know it is zoned commercial. We knew that when we bought but it had been undeveloped for so long. Our house does not back right onto it. Anyway, they have been moving dirt around for the last month or so. We haven’t heard what they are going to do there yet. There are no plans filed with the city. It gives us something to watch and wonder about.
We worked on the front garden for a little while. I am digging up grass that has grown into them. I also pulled up some more of the tulips and things that I don’t like. The roots of some of the bushes cause it to be hard to dig in the dirt. I actually bent two garden trowels while digging!
Dinner was a turkey breast I had put in the crockpot in the morning. I fixed stuffing, corn on the cob, and cranberry sauce. It was good.

I had an appointment at the lab this morning for blood work. I have an appointment with my gastroenterologist next week and he needs the report. Bill came with me and stayed in the car while I went in. I had to fast for it. Afterward we went over to Home Depot to get a new garden trowel since we were in the area. Yes, we wore masks. On the way home we drove through McDonalds to pick up breakfast. We like the big breakfast with pancakes. We used to go out to breakfast a lot but haven’t done take out for breakfast except MCDonalds. We won’t be going to a restaurant for awhile so this is our current breakfast out.
Both walks were accomplished on time. It was warm in the morning and cooler in the evening. One of our neighbors is having their driveway replaced so we watched that a bit. They are still working in the field. Today they flattened the big hill and planted evergreen trees up there. Guess they are finished with that part.
Dinner was cheese ravioli with meat sauce I had in the freezer. I also had some French bread from Pillsbury so it was a good meal.
I watched the Masked Singer. I don’t know who the Rhino is in person but he is a baseball pitcher. I did know who he wasn’t that the judges were saying. There was no way on earth it was Trace Atkins or Jason Aldean.
So it is now time for bed. Night night.
