Thursday, May 14

We didn’t get our morning walk in until after 1:00 in the afternoon because of rain. The day warmed up nicely. By the evening it was around 70. Only problem was that it was muggy. Still it was nice enough not to need a jacket for our evening walk.

I hurt my thumb when working in the garden on Wednesday.  Don’t know how but it has been bothering me since then. It is slowly getting better but it is on my right hand and makes it hard to do some things.

Dinner was chicken/shrimp fried rice. I used the leftover white rice from the weekend. It was pretty good. It rained pretty good while we were having dinner but it only lasted about 30 minutes.

Really boring day.

Friday, May 15

I woke up feeling better today. My hand is feeling much better. We started on our first walk but before we finished it started sprinkling so instead of a mile we only did .89 of a mile. We stopped a couple of times to talk to neighbors. The second walk in the evening was a complete one.

We decided to order out for dinner tonight.  We did Bob Evans but I wasn’t happy with my meal. The coleslaw was really watery. We normally only go there for breakfast. One day we will get to do that again.

I have a few things on order that are taking forever to get here. I am ready to cancel at least one of those orders. Have you noticed that orders are taking forever these days?

Saturday, May 16

Today we decided to take a drive. We drove up to the campground the club is going to in June. We took the scenic route to get there, it took about an hour. I was surprised at the number of people there. I believe they are seasonal/permanents, not really full timers. Campgrounds in Ohio are not suppose to be open yet, only for people who live there full time. They are suppose to open toward the end of the month. It was a little over an hour drive and a good way to pass some time

We really didn’t do much else, not even our walks. It was an overcast sprinkling day. Dinner was a collection of leftovers - turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce and I made a fruit salad.
