I woke up this morning and found out that our friend Lydia Kinkelaar passed away yesterday. It wasn’t a surprise as she has been sick for awhile now. She’d was a very good friend and we will miss her terribly. Once they moved to Oregon and we moved to Ohio we haven’t seen wash other but we have talked a lot. Terry is holding up well and their boys were with her when she passed.
The RV is ready for pickup. They didn’t get the awnings worked on as there is a backlog on the necessary parts for the big awning, about 6 weeks. We have to decide if if we want it worked on or if we will just trade it in like that. The door awning needs to be completely replaced at a cost of about $1400 so I do t think that is going to get done. Anyway, we got it back to storage, first time it has been there since September. We will go over there and do some cleaning and organizing before the camp out in June.
We have had the BBQ that Aimee bought for Nick just before they moved. Their patio is too small for it so we have it on our patio. The kids thought they wanted it back but instead of moving it from one house to another we just said we would buy them a new one. They really needed a smaller one than this one is. Since we get a discount at Hime Depot we met Nick over there and purchased it and the propane they needed. We saved about $40 bucks! Then we drove across the street to Costco to pick up a couple of things. Aimee asked me to get some things for her the next time we were in Costco so I did and we dropped them off at their house.
Dinner is going to be chicken in a sun dried tomato cream sauce. I hope it turns out good. I will let you know. The recipe is called Marry Me Chicken. I liked it. Not sure what Bill thought of it.
We did both walks. We did hold off the evening walk a bit so that it cooled off a bit.

It rained a bit last night but it was all gone by the time we got up.
We decided to take a drive today to see where Aimee’s folks new house is. It is a little over 20 miles south of us. After that we drove to Jungle Jim’s to pick up a few things. The main thing I wanted was out of stock. We will try again next week. So that took up a few hours of our time.
I called my mom to let her know about Lydia. Her and dad knew Terry and Lydia before we did so I wanted to let her know. She asked me to let Terry know he is in her prayers.
When we got home we nibbled so dinner is going to be very simple - frozen entrees.
We decided to have breakfast out tomorrow morning. Guess we will find out how the restaurant is social distancing.

We did go out to breakfast and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. It is a small place we usually go to and it is a very clean place so we felt safe. It was nice to be served a hot meal. After breakfast we went to the grocery store to pick up a couple of things I didn’t get yesterday. After coming home we out the groceries away and I put some country ribs in the crockpot with BBQ sauce. It was also the day I refill my pill organizer so that was done. That usually means I call in any refills I need. We also got our morning walk in before any rain. Wow, we got a lot done before 11:00!
We are going to have Rory over tomorrow for the night. I bought him a couple of things to help entertain him. We still can’t take him to the park to play but he can ride his bike.
We did get our evening walk in.
