Since it is Sunday we did do laundry and cleaned a bit. I decided dinner would be spaghetti and meat sauce. Easy and quick to fix.
I spent a lot of the day playing Word Crush on the iPad. I came in 2nd place in the contest. We did spray some of the weeds and grass that insist on growing in my gardens. Now maybe they will stop. The flowers keep blooming.
We got our evening walk in just fine. It is time to buy new tennis shoes. I have rubbed a blister on my big toe on my left foot. It is either from the shoes or from the deformed toe.

Well our plans for today fell through so we just did a couple of things. We did go for our two walks. The weather was nice I wish it would stay this way all the time but it is suppose to be hot by the end of the week.
We decided to go to a fruit stand in a town close by. It was a nice drive. The fruit stand was just ok but I did get a watermelon that was really good. I also got some peaches, a cantaloupe, and some Tennessee tomatoes. I’ll see how good they are this week. I will probably go back.
I made spaghetti for dinner

Once again our plans for today fell through so we had to come up with something else to do. That turned out to be. It much. We did go to the storage lot to put the registration sticker on the boat trailer. We also cut out a bush that was in the front garden. We had an evergreen bush that I didn’t like so we cut all the branches. We still need to dig out the stump and roots.
We got both walks in today. My left foot is a bit sore due to a blister on my big toe but I am still walking. Dinner was pork chops with roaster new potatoes. We also had cantaloupe with it. The watermelon and cantaloupe I bought were both really good so I guess I will go back to that fruit and veggie stand.

We got up and went out to breakfast. We tried Bob Evans but there was a wait there so we moved over to Waffle House. Big mistake. The service was bad. I had to get up to see someone to take our order. She took the order of the couple who came in after us and were seated behind us. Our food took forever and nobody came to check on us. I didn’t leave a tip, which is unusual for me. The food was cool too.
After that we went to Camping World. We need a couple of things before our camp out next week. Then we got my car washed. The rest of the day was quiet. We are having leftover spaghetti for dinner.
We didn’t go for a walk this morning but we do our evening walk. I had ordered some shoes from Zappos but they didn’t fit right so we sent them back. I ordered the next size so I hope those fit.

So I forgot to write it up in a timely manner and don’t remember everything we did. Wait a minute, I must of blocked out the fact that we had Rory and Lola for the day! After picking them up we went back to the house and dropped off Bill and Lola. Rory and I went to Kid Clubhouse. It is an indoor playground the was open for 2 weeks then the state shut everything down. They have finally reopened and I took the kid there. We were there for about 2 hours and he had a good time. Afterwards we stopped by Wendy’s (or as he calls it the red haired lady’s place) for lunch. We brought the food home and got a sandwich for Bill. Because we had this big lunch we had a light dinner, country ribs I had put in the crockpot, sweet potatoes and cantaloupe.

Ok, I can finally tell the big secret I have been keeping. I have had to avoid posting anything about it until now. Last week we bought a new to us RV. It is a 2017 Coachman Pursuit. It is 31 feet long and is a gas rig. We picked it up today. We were at the dealership for about 3 q/2 hours finishing up 5he paperwork and doing the walkthrough. Since we are so familiar with RV’s we skipped part of it. We do have to take it back after our camp out as they had to order one part but no biggie. Here are some pictures.
It took a couple of days to empty the old rig out and it filled half my garage. We sorted through that stuff and got rid of some but had to sort through again as we put it into the new rig. It isn’t as fancy as the old one and we had to give up some space but it has an overhead bed for Rory. The dinette and couch also make into beds. It fits the camping style we now have. It does have 2 slides. As we put stuff away we found that it had more storage inside than we thought it did. We go camping next week.

Today is my birthday. I spent it loading in the new rig and putting stuff away. First I had to put shelf liner in all the cabinets as well as do some cleaning. I will probably move things around a couple of times as I get used to it but at least most of the stuff is in. The generator and air conditioner work well. It was in the high 80’s today so we used both. We took a couple of trips to the store, I ran out of shelf liner and we had to get some keys made. We have 3 sets of keys for the rig now along with a couple extra door keys for it. I don’t need to carry all the keys with me. No walking today. All the stuff we did in the rig was plenty of exercise. Tomorrow we will load in the outside compartment stuff. Tomorrow evening or Monday we will put it in storage until Wednesday next week when we load for camping.
We had been looking for a Class C but this one came up. I think Bill will like driving it better than a C.
We spent the evening resting and recovering. Tomorrow the kids come over for a Fathers Day BBQ. I have to fix a couple of things in the morning and do a bit of cleanup in the house. It should be a fun time.
So that is all for now.
