Happy Father’s Day. We got up and did some quick cleaning in the house. I also mixed up the deviled eggs. The kids are coming over for a BBQ. It is really warm today so we will put the umbrella up on the patio. Aimee is bring a tritium and some salads. I had dessert, I picked up some gourmet brownies at the store and have ice cream. They toured the motorhome and liked it. Rory can’t wait to sleep in it. They brought Lola with them. Rory played on the slip n slide and in the sprinkler for most of the afternoon. That kept him busy. After everyone left we loaded a bit more into the rig. We are just about finished. We will move it to a side street in the neighborhood tomorrow. There is a street that dead ends and only has one house on it so we can park there and not disturb anyone. Technically we should take it to storage but we would just bring it back on Wednesday to go camping.
Bill got calls from both the girls and since everyone was still here everyone talked to them.
We were both very tired and went to bed early but couldn’t fall asleep. Don’t you just hate it when you are too tired to sleep.

We moved the rig this morning. It will be safe on the side street and not block anyone. We will bring it back down on Wednesday to cool off the fridge. I am making lists of what we will be taking for food. The group sent out an email that there is not going to be a potluck but they will supply meat on Friday and Saturday nights. I will pickup some pasta and macaroni salads to have on hand just in case. We can eat them ourselves if we want.
We looked at mattress toppers for the rig. It is an odd size so we are going to have to buy one and cut it down. A queen is too small and a king is too big. We are going to use the old one we had to try it out first. When we get back I will order a new one. I checked camping world and they have one the right size but it is really expensive. I can get something similar from Amazon for a lot less and cut it.
We watched some of our recorded stuff on tv for the night. We had halibut for dinner.

We went to Scramblers for breakfast. I had free breakfast for my birthday. It was as good as always. On the way home we stopped at the storage facility to get some things out of the Chevy. We will leave the car there until we get back from camping since the rig is sitting where the car usually sits.
Today was a resting day after all we have done the last few days. I did collect stuff to put on the rig but it is all sitting on the dining room table. For dinner I made pork chops and sweet potatoes. We ate the remaining fruit from our BBQ also.
I called Terry and talked to home for about 1 1/2 hours. He is doing good and we look forward to seeing him in the fall. We talked our our new rig and our friends.
We got both walks in today even though the temps are climbing. We have been having summer showers in the afternoon. At least we don’t have to water the grass when it showers. My wildflowers are doing really well. I like them.

Today we went to the grocery store to get everything we needed. Now we are waiting for the fridge to cool down. We loaded things like clothes into the rig.
We got our morning walk in but not our evening. I somehow bruised one of my toes and it was sore so I didn’t walk. We did go to Bravo Italian Restaurant for dinner. I had a birthday coupon for them. All the staff had masks and they had social distanced the tables and were using the booths in a staggered pattern. Not bad.
I talked to my mom today. I told her she was out of my will since she forgot my birthday. Ha ha. Everyone there is good.
We have everything ready to go tomorrow. I hope everything works out ok with the rig.
