Tuesday-Friday , Sept 22-25

Tuesday we spent time watering the lawn. it takes about 2 hours to do the entire thing. one thing I do miss from Calif is my sprinkler system. it isn't really common here. i guess that is because of the winter months. normally there is enough rain that you dont need it but we have been dry for most of the month.

Wednesday we went shopping. I wanted some fall decorations for outside. We hit Hobby Lobby and Target. I got a couple of metal decorations as well as some lighted pumpkins for the porch. Here are some pics -

My mums are also blooming. Now if the white ones in the middle would flower I will be happy. There are a large number of buds on it but they haven’t opened yet.  Wednesday evening we also took my car to the local repair shop. I need an oil change and my battery hasn’t been holding a charge well so I need that looked at

Thursday morning we went out to breakfast at the Race Track. It is a small family owned place at the local fair ground. Nothing fancy, they only take cash, but the food is good and cheap.  The repair shop called and told me it would take an hours time to get the battery out to test it and since it is the original and 7 years old we decided it was best to just replace it. Apparently the starter battery on the C-Max if not I. The engine but buried in the rear of the car.  They got the car done and we picked it up in the afternoon.

Friday I went to babysit while Aimee did some chores. Rory will be going back to school in later October as that is when the district is reopening the buildings.  The trees around here are starting to turn colors. They are looking pretty.

I put a turkey breast in the crockpot before I left this morning. It was done when I got home so that I what we ate.
