Monday-Monday, Nov 9-16

Monday morning we took the rig over to get it winterized.  They will have it for a few days. I went to the kids house for the afternoon to babysit while Aimee got her hair done.  I played with Lola and Rory played video games. I also did some reading. When I got home I fixed steak for dinner.

Tuesday I spent part of the day ordering prescriptions.  It is always so fun doing that. For some reason they are not all on the same schedule so I can order refills on some and some need new prescriptions.  We made a trip to Walmart but half of the stuff I wanted they didn’t have. Happy Birthday to the Marine Corps.  On our walk the HOA secretary told us the treasurer was moving and asked if I would take over  I told her I would think about it  I will need a new computer if I decide to do that.

Wednesday was a busy day. We went out to breakfast, Bill got his free fr Veterans Day.  Next we went to Best Buy where I got some dish rags.  Then over to Costco, they are close, where I picked up a few things on sale and look at computers. We also put gas in the Chevy.  They have a sale coming up later in the month and I will probably get the one they have on sale.  Mine is pretty old and has some problems.  On the way home we stopped by the car wash and found out that was free for veterans, score!  We went out to dinner. We thought about BJ’s but the wait was over an hour so we just went to Bob Evans. Bill got another free meal there.

Thursday we did our walks today. I have pretty much decided to take the treasurers job but want to find out what software they use so I sent an email to the current guy. I also did some ordering of Christmas gifts today. I am just about done. I also have Rory’s and Aimee’s birthdays to buy for.  I guess I will send out a few Christmas cards soon,  I did put the last touches on the dash cover for the rig.  It is ready to tack down.  I shortened a pillow case for the rig set, it was a king size case and we use regular size pillows.  I also replaced the elastic on my Camping Squares jacket. I am fixing pork chops for dinner so I need to get on that now. I also spent a lot of time working on backing up my computer in anticipation of getting a new one.

Friday started out with our morning walk.  Then I headed over to the kids house for my babysitting duties.  I learned about plural nouns today.  Aimee had a lot of chores to get accomplished so I spent time playing with Rory and Lola.  Once home I fixed sliders and french fries for dinner.  After that we took our walk in the early evening darkness.  It gets dark around 5:30 or so.  Afterward we took a trip to Kroger to pick up some groceries.  Guess what - no toilet paper or paper towels.  Looks like people are hording again.  We still have some but I will pick some up when I find it.

Saturday.  We don't have anything planned today.  I did pick dates for our season tickets at the local dinner theater for next year.  Hopefully they will still be open.  We are suppose to go this Friday night to see the Christmas show but I am not sure if the governor is going to shut things down again or not. We will see.  I sent an email to the new wagonmaster to find out about next years dates so I don't book performances on camping weeks.   They do not always camp on the same weekend each month which makes planning difficult.  Nick texted and asked if we could babysit for a couple of hours so we did.  It was good to talk to him when we got there

Sunday. It rained last night and into this morning. I choose the last few recipes for Thanksgiving.  I have a couple of things left to pick up for the appetizers.  I also got most of my Christmas shopping done. I also got Rory’s and Aimee’s birthday presents.  His is in early December and hers in early January.  I still have to pick up a couple of things for Nick but I am otherwise done. Bill and I went to Kohl’s to see about getting him some shoes.  I had a coupon for 40% off the total. This is where I picked up Aimee’s gift. Let me say, I got some really, really good discounts. The item I bought was 60% off, plus my 40% off plus a 20% off coupon. We stopped for dinner at Doubleday’s. It was good and I didn’t have to cook.

Monday.  The weather is suppose to be nice today. A bit chilly, 50 degrees, but the sun is shining. We both decided to get our hair cut. Bill needs it and I am thinking they might be closing the salons again and just needed a trim. This should hold us over for awhile. I finished my Christmas shopping this morning. By Wednesday I should have everything here. Thank goodness for online ordering.

We go on state lockdown tomorrow. But Teri's hair salon is not on the list. She can work but chooses only to take existing clients in now.
