So Spring has arrived. One week we had all that snow, the next week it was gone. The temps have been in the high 50’s and even into the 60’s. We went over and check out the RV and boat, to see how the snow affected them. Both were in good shape. The ground in the storage facility was very muddy and mushy due to the melt. Our first camp out is in the end of April. Looking forward to that. We did go to dinner with the group at the Olde Spaghetti Factory. It was nice to get out for a bit.
This Friday I get my final shot for COVID. We will still wear masks when we go places as it is required but we fell safer. The kids won’t get theirs for a few months. Ohio is keeping their restrictions in place until things are a lot better.
Our bathroom remodel hasn’t started yet. I hope it will be soon. They want all the parts to be ready before they tear it apart.
Spring break is at the end of the month. We will be taking Rory out a couple of times. It should be fun. Lola has had a couple of issues lately. She cut her rear leg foot pad when out walking in the snow. It was slowly healing as she kept jumping up and reopening it. When the kids took her to the vet they said she had a tumor and they had to have it removed. She is healing nicely and it hasn’t slowed her down at all.
We haven’t done much but hope to be able to get out more this summer.
