Where does time go?

 We have been busy doing things, just what I am not sure.  We got the rig in to fix the gfi and I also had them change the bathroom sink faucet.  The original one was very close to the edge of the sink and it was difficult to get your hand under it.  They replaced that with one that is much easier to use.  We went out camping for our next to last campout.  We went on Tuesday and the weather was nice.  Unfortunately the weather turned on Wednesday.  It got cold, windy and a little rainy. It stayed that way for the rest of the week.  Good thing I packed a lot of clothes that I could layer.  I played dominoes and cards with the girls. I didn’t have my card holder so my hands were sore for a week after.  I won’t make that mistake again. I made “Not your Mama’s banana pudding” for one night and I supplied ham for the main dish for the second.  Here are a couple of pictures of the trees around the campground.  

We also went to La Comedia dinner theater to see “Do White Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?”  It was a cute play. The food was good as always.  We also went to a place called Young’s Jersey Dairy.  Our financial planners were hosting an event there. We had dinner and walked around a bit before getting some ice cream and heading home.  

Our grass is not really growing anymore. With fall here it slows down.  Right now we are having it mowed every other week.  Bill has to start raking or blowing leaves. The city starts vacuuming them up in Nov.  We had the annual heater service done so at least that is done. 

I have been looking into changing our home and auto insurance.  I have heard from many contractors that Allstate is hard to work with so I decided to go with USAA.  I spent some time online and on the phone and finally got that taken care of. I have absolutely decided that I will be changing phone companies soon.   Probably after the last camp out.  

Halloween is coming up. We will be going over to the kids house.  Aimee is hosting an open house.  We will have a fire pit going and give out candy. I’ll post pics after.
